HR Consultancy are working on a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Settlements Manager to join a Wealth & Investment banking group in Glasgow city centre!

Responsibilities of the Settlements Manager will include:

-Managing the processes performed by this team ensuring all core settlement processes facilitate the needs of the business whilst adhering to regulatory requirements and best practice
-Leading projects that change programmes and systems used in this area of business, as required, in response to the evolution of the business, including regulatory change
-Ensuring complete and accurate internal reporting of the Company's Client Money and Asset Requirements for items relating to both institutional and exchange member counterparties where it is required
-Attending and participating in the weekly and monthly settlement meetings, or when unable to attend, provide feedback to the Head of Settlements in respect of matters discussed
-Managing the team members whilst developing working relationships with other departments
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:

-The ability to process the completion of trades on 3rd party confirmation systems (CTM)
-Proven experience of working with institutional clients
-Proven experience of managing a team
-Knowledge of MiFID ll would be advantageous
-Experience with MI reporting
