My client is an instantly recognizable and well regarded FTSE 100 company. They are seeking a commercially astute and forward-thinking candidate to join their UK Head Office as a Finance Analyst. They will support the successful candidate through the remainder of their studies and offer clear progression opportunities for them upon qualifying. Reporting in to the Senior Finance Manager, the new Finance Analyst will add value to the business by providing clear and insightful analysis in order to inform all financial aspects of commercial decision making. This will entail budgeting, forecasting and identifying areas for improvement. For a candidate who performs well, there is also opportunity to take on a variety of project work. Key tasks and accountabilities will include the following: challenging commercial decision making in order to facilitate financially informed business strategy, providing value adding analysis on various projects, production and review of period reports, timely reporting and forecasting, identifying opportunities for process improvements, daily sales reporting, business partnering and actively engaging and developing contacts throughout the business. In order to be considered for this role, you must be a part-qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) who is educated to degree level. The successful candidate will be a clear, confident communicator who is comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and making valuable decisions which have a tangible impact upon business performance and strategic direction.
