Channel Sales Executive-Indirect-Hampshire

Based in Basingstoke

Salary 26-30k plus a potential bonus and excellent benefits package

Are you an experienced Sales individual who has experience of indirect channel sales and wants to move in to a new and exciting career opportunity?

I am recruiting for a permanent Sales executive for a global client. You will proactively generate and process sales leads, enquiries, produce quotations and account manage selected customers in a desk based role. Key responsibilities will be forecasting requirements from such customers, entering details onto the CRM system, following the sales/commercial process in order to be able to meet targets and deliver forecast. Requirement to establish a strong "distant" relationship with the customers and identifying further opportunities within the selected existing customer base.


Customer Relationship
*Establish rapport with identified customers and build trust with them in order to foster an effective and efficient relationship from the desk.
*Proactively contact customers to follow leads, acquire forecast information, follow up quotations and identify further opportunities to grow the business.
*Proactively up sell those customer accounts with either superior specification or grow the account through the introduction of new products.
*Be involved in Lead generation campaigns
*Identify when a Sales Manager needs to approach the customer for more complex opportunities.
*Host customer visits if appropriate.

Sales Activity:
*Gain a solid understanding of the product offering range
*Support and Collaborate with the Sales team to establish customer relationships
*Follow sales methodology as appropriate
*Input and deliver SLA for turnaround of quotations and responses to customers
*Be the key point of contact for identified customers
*Work as part of the team to deliver against Revenue targets.

*Make full use of the CRM system to track leads and capture opportunities to drive forecast.
*Follow commercial process for the approval of quotations and qualification of opportunities.
*Ensure price lists are established, updated and used where possible.
*Follow the Stagegate process for the logging of the progress of enquiries
*Ensure orders are successfully handed over to the project team for delivery as appropriate.

Skills & experience required:
*An appetite to sell, retain and grow the business
*Experience in outward bound calling and Lead Generation campaigns
*Proactive, tenacious and determined
*Articulate and personable
*Able to multi-task effectively under pressure
*Excellent written and oral skills
*A team player able to work in a flexible manner
*Excellent telephone manner
*Strong interest in providing good customer service
*Well organised, have a good memory and have an eye for detail
*Commercial awareness
*Proficient in using MS Office
*Experience of using Microsoft CRM and SharePoint would be beneficial
