An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join a rapidly expanding construction business based in Walsall Wood. This well respected business offer fantastic progression opportunities. Salary Circa GBP22K

The main purpose of the role is to undertake a range of accounts duties in a timely and efficient manner.

Daily duties include:
" Keep weekly Purchase Ledger timetable taking into account holidays ensuring adequate cover.
" Ensure daily that all invoices are processed according to the timetable
" Ensure that all POD's are received from site, liaise with Contract Managers

" Monitor batches of invoices that are sent around the business for authorisation, making sure that old batches are chased up
" Produce and review Purchase Ledger KPI's.
" Ensure that Job costing deadlines are met each month so that reports can be run
" Ensure that allocation report is run weekly
" Run weekly payments and 45 day payment run
" Ensure all subcontractors are verified weekly
" Month end purchase ledger reconciliations checking costing of contact invoice
" Oversee archiving

As part of the role the Purchase Ledger Supervisor must also be able to :

" Post Contact Invoice/credit
" Post overhead and Plant Invoice
" Help manage site paperwork
" Reconcile Statements
" Process Subcontractor payment runs

The successful candidate will have previous accounts experience, preferably within the construction industry and will have strong excel skills. You will have held one of the following job titles: Accounts Assistant, Management Accountant, Bookkeeper, Accounts Manager, Accounts Co-ordinator.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00
