THE OPPORTUNITY This is a fantastic opportunity for part qualified professional to join the team as a Tax Associate at the Manchester Office. You will be managing a portfolio of tax advisory projects, ensuring high quality standards in both delivery and client service throughout. The portfolio typically comprises of UK owner managed businesses, and international high net worth clients in a range of sectors, with property being a key sector. Dependent on your aspirations, the role can eventually be tailored to include playing an active part in business development opportunities, proposals and networking. THE ROLE Your duties will include: • Assisting with engagement scope and proposals; • Assisting with the client on-boarding process; • Drafting project reports and any supporting documents for partner review; • Liaising with clients where necessary; • Review of tax returns before presenting to clients; • Delivering a full range of tax services to the portfolio of clients highlighting any tax risks and how to manage them. ABOUT YOU You will ideally be a part qualified (ACCA, ACA, CTA, AAT or equivalent) Tax semi senior, who is looking for career progression, and a step up in terms of responsibility. You will have proven practice experience, excellent knowledge of tax, and strong technical skills.
