We are currently working with a growing manufacturing company based on the Isle of Sheppey. They are searching for a Finance Manager to join them initially on a 6 month contract and then to move into a permanent role.Main responsibilities: Oversee the finance department and payroll on a day-to-day basis.Weekly cash flow forecast and reporting.Monthly control account reconciliations.Preparing the monthly management accounts.Ensuring accurate and timely processing for payroll of circa 200 employees.Providing ad hoc data to departments and management team.Preparing and submitting VAT returns.Preparing and submitting PAYE returns.Compilation of annual audit data and liaising with external auditors.Ad hoc project work. Qualifications and personal competencies: You will be fully qualified or part qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with experience working within manufacturing.Strong Excel and management skills.
