Business Development Manager - GBP47-48K basic + OTE + Excellent benefits + Company car, home based role with UK national coverage.

We have a fantastic opportunity working for one of the top employers globally, within their Industrial and Adhesives Tape Division.

Job Responsibilities
*Sell and introduce a designated range of IATD products in order to achieve sales targets in line with IATD operating plan.
*Continue to build knowledge of the designated range of IATD products, competitor's products and key accounts on territory. Report any significant changes which could affect the future business.
*Manage distributors with combined sales of GBP2 million.
*Promote/introduce and sell the designated range of IATD products to end users and mechanical engineers with demonstrations to show key features and benefits of the designated IATD product range.
*Identify and gain a clear understanding of nominated key accounts to include managing relationship with key contacts, with new business generation.
*Build relationships with key contactors and mechanical engineers.
*Update internal sales system with sales visits, sales opportunities and activities within accounts & territory.
*Leverage of resources to maximise sales impact within end users.
*Feedback on competitor activities within the marketplace.
*Training of distributor internal & external sales people.
*Development: Continuously expected to learn & improve skills relative to the market, products, applications, selling and administrative skills.

Knowledge & Skills
*Desire and will to succeed in a sales environment
*Proven Sales Experience and a background in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning market sector is strongly preferred.
*Experience of insulation manufacturing and sales would be beneficial.
*Strong communication skills at all levels of the organisation, including key stakeholders and customers
*Strong selling and negotiation skills
*Good area and business planning skills
*Strong organisational skills are essential
*Proven experience of developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
