An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Consultant to join a fantastic company based in Redruth, Cornwall.

Essential Requirements for a sales consultant
Full, clean Driving License
Proven sales experience in a B2B environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to identify appropriate technologies to support key business processes
Well-presented, articulate, professional, confident and credible
The ability to demonstrate high levels of IT literacy
Excellent attention to detail
Good time management
Willingness to participate in technical training and continuous development programmes

Desirable Requirements
Whilst a technical background is not essential, relevant qualifications/experience would be advantageous
A sense of humour

The Role for a Sales Consultant

Working closely with colleagues, you will be responsible for growing revenues from sales of security solutions and consultancy services to businesses across Cornwall and Devon.
Working to agreed targets, you will identify prospects and generate leads. You will be confident engaging with senior managers and business owners at prospective clients, and be able to provide professional advice on appropriate solutions and products.
Whilst this is an office based role, considerable time may be spent in the field.

Key Tasks for a Sales Consultant
Working alongside the Marketing team, create and close sales opportunities
Assisting with security and technical reviews at prospective clients
Liaising with the technical team
Prepare and deliver detailed proposals
Assume client management responsibility
Participate in supporting activities such as exhibitions, seminars and networking
Maintaining accurate records
