Our client initially provided support for a small number of people with learning disabilities then expanded their supported living services for people with learning disabilities, also developing specialisms in other areas, enabling them to support people with a wide variety of support needs including autistic spectrum conditions, mental health support needs and acquired brain injury.

Vacancy Details:
We are supporting our client with the recruitment of a Supported Living Manager. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Supported Living Manager will be responsible for overseeing a number of supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs across Evesham and Worcester.

We are looking for a Supported Living Manager who has 2 - 4 year's experience of working within the learning disability sector, with a least 1 - 2 year's experience of working at a Senior, Team Leader or Manager level. Close supervision, mentoring and training will be provided in addition to Manager and peer support.

The Supported Living Manager will be expected to manage the day to day running of the services including rota and service delivery. You will provide leadership and guidance to a staff team of up to 25 support staff including ensuring regular group and 1:1 supervision.

The Supported Living Manager will not be required to be the Registered Manager for the services.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
• Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Be willing to work towards level 5 qualification, if not already completed
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Ability to listen, support others, gain trust and show understanding by recognising different perspectives
• Encouraging a culture where people can raise concerns about safety
