The Role - SENCO
As the SENCO it is your responsibility to ensure a smooth running of the SEN department at all times and aspects of the school day. You will be responsible as the SENCO to guide and manage a team of SEN teaching assistants as well as deal with all SEN matters across the whole school. Ideally, you will hold the National SENCO award however the school are happy to take a SENCO on that is in the process of or willing to start the process of obtaining their SENCO award. As the schools SENCO, you must have extensive knowledge on all aspects of SEN and also have the ability to create and deliver training to you SEN team. Preferably, this School are looking for a teacher that is Science trained however all SENCOs are encouraged to apply.
