Functional Skills Lecturer - English/Maths - Hertford Regional College
We seek a dynamic full time English/Maths tutor/assessor who has the drive and passion to deliver the full range of professional services associated with programmes of teaching, learning, assessment and student support.
Delivery will be for apprentices across the full range of HRC apprenticeships offer, functional skills English and Maths at level 1 and level 2.
You will ensure the full implementation of course review, evaluation and development, and work pro-actively to secure constant quality improvement and apprenticeship timely completion and achievement of the highest possible standards.
You will promote the importance of planning a flexible training and assessment programme of delivery to ensure that all apprentices are sufficiently stretched and challenged with English and Maths skills throughout their Apprenticeship programme.
You will be an enthusiastic teacher with a minimum Level 4 English qualification or English specialism and hold a Teacher training qualification or commitment to achieve in a specified period of time.
You will have proven teaching experience in delivering English within a Further Education, Higher Education or learning environment.

Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: GBP25,650 - GBP32,700 per annum, plus market allowance, depending on qualification and experience
Annual Leave: 42 days per annum plus all public and bank holidays.
