An exciting opportunity to join the HR Team in our Chatham office on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. We're looking for someone who'll provide advice and guidance to the business on a variety of employee relations issues. Working part time, ideally you'll work three full days per week however we can be flexible.

You'll act as HR Representative at Performance Improvement hearings, work with managers to deal with absence management issues, manage grievance and disciplinaries as well as support employees through the Maternity, Paternity and Adoption processes.

Working very closely with our HR Business Partners you'll ensure all our current people policies and procedures are meeting the needs of the business, putting forward recommendations for improvements as required.

A great role within a fast paced team for an HR Professional looking to develop their existing skill set.

To be considered for this role you'll need:

• Experience of supporting managers through general employee relations issues
• Experience of providing up to date employment law advice
• Excellent communication skills able to deal with employees across all levels of the business
• The ability to use your initiative to proactively identify issues
• To be adaptable and deal with change
• To be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), CIPD qualification is desirable although not essential
• To have excellent organisational skills coupled with the ability to prioritise and multi task
• To be able to travel to our offices within London and Bradford.
