Scotland's premier producing theatre seeks a dynamic individual to take forward the Development strategy and build on recent successes in this vital area of the Lyceum's business plans.
Working closely with supportive Chief Executives and Board of Trustees, the Development Director will continue the development and implementation of the Lyceum's fundraising strategy to generate ongoing sustainable income to support all areas of the company's activity. Taking a proactive and dynamic role in the senior management team, the post holder will ensure buy-in from across the organisation in support of this goal. This is an upfront, hands-on fundraising role.

Based in a stunning Victorian theatre in the centre of Edinburgh, we are a mid-scale producing company with a year-round programme, combining classic and contemporary plays with world premieres of new writing. We have a dedicated and talented team of people working across our artistic, administrative, theatre, stage, costume and workshop departments who realise this programme to a high standard.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a proven track record of delivering development plans and achieving fundraising targets. Whilst being comfortable working at a strategic level, you achieve your job satisfaction from turning strategy into action.
