Robert Half Finance & Accountancy are pleased to be exclusively partnering with our client, a high growth US Business, based in St Albans, on the recruitment of an exciting Financial Controller position. This is a great opportunity to work in a business which are growing at 20% year on year and to contribute to developing and managing a newly created finance team. The Financial Controller will manage a finance team of 4 staff and will co-ordinate with finance and non-finance stakeholders across a number of countries and will report to the CFO based in the US. The Financial Controller will manage all of the accounting across the EMEA region and so some experience of working with multiple entities in a number of countries would be a distinct advantage. The Financial Controller will be responsible for:
-Manage a finance team and oversee finance staff in several locations
-Own and be accountable for the month-end close, financial reporting, departmental expense analysis and other statutory compliance matters
-Co-ordinate with the CFO, Operations, Treasury and Group accounting on review of operations, cash position, foreign currency transactions, credit & collection and supplier management
-Oversee consolidation of international companies as required
-Co-ordinate and manage the annual budgeting process
-Production of insightful management reporting and financial analysis
-Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes
-Maintain internal control system and transaction integrity
-Work collaboratively to support the Treasury and FP&A function
-Monitor, update and ensure compliance of inter-company agreements, contracts, corporate compliance, transfer pricing rules, etc
-Manage Audit process with Consultants -Train and mentor the finance team
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who is fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and who has at least 5 years Controller experience; managing AP, AR and Credit Control and overseeing all controls, processes and procedures across several countries. The ideal candidate would have experience of managing the accounting for multiple entities in several countries including VAT, IFRS and US GAAP.
Salary & Package
A highly competitive salary of circa GBP65,000 - GBP75,000 plus GBP5-6k car allowance, bonus and excellent package.
