Our client is a forward-thinking an dynamic firm and they are currently looking to add to their tax team.

Working as a Manager, the position will be busy with a varied portfolio of clients and duties will include;

* Preparation and submission of corporation tax computations and returns
* Preparation and submission of personal tax returns
* Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
* Responding to ad-hoc queries from clients
* Principal point of contact for your clients on day to day tax matters
* Liaising with the partners and other team members
* Assisting members of the accounts department in the preparation of clients' accounts, reviewing and amending accounts where appropriate and attending meetings with clients to discuss their accounts when required

The successful candidate will have experience of tax compliance, will be well-versed in tax software and be comfortable working with clients, providing advice and services and where appropriate developing the services of the firm.

Whilst this role requires someone with experience of taxation, it also requires an aptitude for learning new skills, being open to continuous development and growth.

A keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills and a sound understanding of accounting principles are also key attributes for this position.

In an ideal world the successful candidate will be CTA qualified or equivalent and if you are also a qualified accountant, that would be an added bonus.
