HR Consultancy are working on a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Fund Accountant Assistant Manager to join an industry leading banking group in Glasgow city centre!

Working closely with Fund Accounting and Shared Service teams you will ensure integrity of fund data and manage the responses to Clients, Auditors, Trustees, Custodians and other departments within Securities Services for those funds assigned responsibility for.

You will review and sign off interim and year-end financial statements in accordance with all regulations pertaining to differing fund types and in accordance with client service level agreements.

• Managing team workload for a team of 6
• Planning the employees workload
• Dealing with clients directly
• Making sure team are well skilled having all the needed resources in
• Planning is key to this role
• Previous experience planning and organising the work load of a team
• Financial services experience
• IT literate - Microsoft office, Excel
• Accounts experience is not essential but the manager would like us to
look at individuals with this first and then without if needed
• Good communication skills
• Ability to supervise a team and delegate where needed
• Preferably an Accountant but not essential
