A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Audit professional to join one of the UK's best Accountancy Practices, as a Top 30 firm are looking to add a skilled Audit Manager to their Not for Profit and Charity Team, offering the right candidate a very strong remuneration package (circa GBP60,000), and great opportunities to further progress you career, with Partnership opportunities available in the future.
The main purpose of the role will be to work closely alongside the firm's Partners, assisting them in running a busy portfolio of clients within the charity and NfP sector. The portfolio consists of schools, religious orders, grant makers, service delivery charities and associations, varying in size from small charities to large associations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Planning and completion of audits for a variety of NfP and Charity clients
- Attend and lead client meetings
- Assist in supervising/managing the audit staff, including in the training process, appraisals, mentor groups, etc.
- Assist where required in the general running of the audit department
- Accounts preparation
- Provision of general business advice to clients
- Managing the overall service delivery to clients
- Aiding Partners in the management of their Client Portfolios
- Other special projects, including Internal Audit
- Client billing and job recoverability
- Client and prospective client meetings

Ideal Candidate

- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- A strong background working within an Audit focused role within a busy Accountancy Practice setting
- Strong experience working within the Charity and Not for Profit sectors
- Technically gifted, with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, being confident in your ability to effectively communicate at all levels, bit internally and externally
- Good organisational skills, capable of handling multiple ongoing projects at once, whilst also able to prioritise your workload
- A working knowledge of Tax, and an understanding of CaseWare would both be beneficial (though not essential)
