Job Title - Complaints Handler

Location - Manchester

Salary - GBP20,000 per annum

About the role:

We are looking for a driven and customer focused individual for a 6-month fixed term contract based in Manchester.

In this role, you will investigate, assess and reach a conclusion on multiple customer complaints whilst maintaining high levels of customer service. Full training and support will be provided by our team of experts including Trainers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Team Managers.

You will have full ownership of doing general complaints and then you will also have the chance of working on some specialist and more complex complaints. You will have access to all the client's systems liaising with customers by phone, email and letter.

You will have:


General banking experience desirable (e.g. from branch, servicing telephony team, back office processing team)

Advanced letter writing skills

Excellent verbal communication and telephony skills; must have previously worked in a telephony based role

Numeracy and computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

Be able to analyse data and make decisions confidently

A customer focused attitude when dealing with a range of people

Meticulous attention to detail

Be highly organised and able to manage own workload to meet stretching targets and strict deadlines

The ability to work as part of a supportive team

Hours - Monday to Friday - 8 - 4 and 10 - 6 alternate shifts and 1 in 6 Saturday with a day off in the week
