Payroll Administrator/Clerk - GBP21000 to GBP23000 pa

I am currently working with a top 20 Chartered Accountants, located in West Berkshire who offer a full range of accounting and business advisory services to a diverse range of businesses within the UK and overseas.

You will be working within an established payroll department and will need to have gained experience in all aspects of payroll, understand the rules on auto-enrolment and ensure all my client's customers payrolls are correct and compliant.

Key responsibilities and duties:

* Processing client payrolls; weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual payrolls
* Looking after new starters and leavers
* Dealing with all payroll and client HMRC queries
* Setting up PAYE systems
* Submitting CIS monthly returns
* All Auto enrolment activity; including setting up pension schemes, using pension dashboards and uploading relevant data to the pension provider
* You must have a good understanding of payroll legislation and compliance and ensure you keep up to date with any associated changes
* Be able to effectively communicate and develop relationships with clients
* Have an excellent eye for detail and ensure all comprehensive payroll records are kept up to date
* All payroll administration, including printing sealing and sending payslips

Skills and Experience:

* Excellent attention to detail
* Proven numeric skills
* Good applied knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance's
* Actively seeks to enhance expertise and knowledge through self development
