Analytics Team Leader

Cubed Resourcing are working alongside a rapidly growing insurance company that offer exceptional service and are expanding into new markets, now serving hundreds of thousands of customers.

Due to future expansion of the Data Analyst team, our client are offering an exciting new opportunity for a motivated Analytics Team Leader that is keen to progress within the insurance sector. Reporting to the Managing Director, in this role you will be responsible for leading the analytics team to provide accurate and relevant data analysis that will be used to inform business decisions, and to enhance business performance.

Applicants must possess man management skills and have a highly logical attitude, you will also require great problem solving abilities and demonstrable Data Analysis experience.

Key responsibilities:

- Interpreting data, analysing results and providing ongoing reports
- Completing price analysis across the whole product range, including open market comparisons
- Make recommendations to the business to support the ongoing strategic goals of the company
- Collating and preparing data from a number of sources
- Identifying and analysing trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Working closely with management, and colleagues within other departments, to prioritise business and information needs
- Present information in an easy to understand format
- To both manage and monitor team performance
- To support, develop, train, coach and mentor all team members to reach their potential

Skills and experience required for the role:

- Minimum of 5 years` data analysis experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure, by responding quickly to requests for information or data
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Experience with reporting packages
- Advanced ability using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Qlikview, Excel, Crystal etc.)
- Able to build multi-dimensional data models to monitor performance and predict outcomes
- Insurance knowledge is preferable but not essential

Working hours for the role will be Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm however some flexibility is required occasionally.
