An excellent position has arisen with my client due to an internal promotion for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is currently a strong accounts assistant or assistant management accountant looking for the next step in to a management accounts role within a fast-paced and dynamic business.

Client Details

My client has been established for over 70 years and have seen constant increase in profits year on year for the past decade. They have just acquired a new contract worth GBP50million pounds and have other lucrative contracts in the pipeline.


This is an exciting opportunity that will best suit a hands-on part qualified accountant who is hungry for a new challenge and opportunities. You will be well supported in the role to assist with your training and development whilst being part of a fast moving, growth driven business.

Role responsibilities include

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of divisional reporting
  • Monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Variance analysis
  • Business partnering with the marketing creative division to support on commercials
  • Close management of revenue recognition and job costs
  • Responsibility for budget management of key areas of the business


The ideal candidate will be:

  • Part-qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experienced in management accounts preparation
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Confidence in learning new systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Methodical and high attention to detail

It would be an advantage if the candidate:

  • Has experience with a SME / privately owned business
  • Has experience within a service business
  • Has knowledge of Sage 200
