My client is a successful and growing business that has experienced a lot of positive change and development in the past 18 months.

They are now looking for someone to join their small team in Sandy to work predominantly on purchase ledger but also provide cover and multiskill in other areas of accounts.

The duties will include;

* Coding & gaining authorisation of purchases invoices in accordance with company issued signature list
* Document scanning of all purchase invoices, importing into system and matching to relevant purchase order
* Distributing invoices to obtain payment authorisation
* Producing payments due list and raising payments via BACS to suppliers to ensure all suppliers kept within terms
* Managing and updating supplier master files
* Reconciling supplier statements and deal with any supplier queries
* Providing cover for Sales Ledger and Credit Control when require
* Assisting with payroll on an ad hoc basis (training will be given)

This is a fast-paced and challenging role working in a business with a great history and an exciting future.

The successful candidate will have existing experience working in purchase ledger, and ideally working with high volumes.

A good working knowledge of Excel is important alongside a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to challenging deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
