***Permanent, full-time position starting September

From September, this 2-form primary school in Tower Hamlets is keen to recruit an inspirational teacher to take responsibility as whole school Maths Co-ordinator. For suitably qualified and experienced applicants, this is an excellent opportunity to join a popular and successful school and fully contribute to its ongoing ambitions of achieving outstanding status. This is a popular school within the local community and promotes an ethos where every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential within a happy, stimulating and secure environment. The school is on an upward curve in terms of results and this is evidenced by its recent Ofsted judgement as 'Good with Outstanding' features.

As well as assuming a class teacher role within KS1 or 2, as Maths Co-ordinator you will be responsible for raising and maintaining standards of achievement in mathematics across the whole school. This pivotal role requires a natural leader with the necessary charisma and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate their vision to all stakeholders.

You will be a teacher who can help drive up teaching standards and implement new initiatives to manage change effectively. You should have the capability to lead your class to new academic heights and meet the challenges and demands of the modern teaching environment. You will have a good understanding of how best to communicate with parents, pupils, and teachers, as well as well developed organisational skills.
