Optima Plus are actively representing a specialist rehabilitation centre in the Greenwich area with the recruitment of a Nurse Team Leader.

In your role as a Nurse Team Leader you will have responsibility for providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team and ensuring the effectiveness of the team in the delivery of excellent standards of care; promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

Supervise and lead in the person's care and to plan, implement and evaluate their care plans with the staff involved in their care delivery

Work with the Senior Team to ensure occupancy levels are achieved and maintained

Take a leadership role in implementing change as required

Identify their care needs in conjunction with the person, their family and the team

Promote high standards of nursing care for you and your team, by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth efficient manner

Ensure effective communication systems are established and maintained between clients, families, staff and external agencies

Work closely with the Deputy Manager in the identification and recruitment of new staff

Contribute in clinical reviews and nursing reviews ensuring accurate feedback on the person's care

To be successful in this role you must possess the following:

RMN/RNLD qualified with a current registration with the NMC and have a legal right to work in the UK.

Minimum of 3 years experience in a Staff Nurse Role, with clinical experience within mental health and/or LD treatment settings.
