Residential care provider works with residential care who provide a range of care from elderly.

This care provider seek to provide high quality residential living for the elderly residents. Due to expansion they are looking for a forward thinking home manager to be part of a lovely care setting.


To assist the Home Manager in the overall direction, coordination, implementation control of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, vision and goals.

To support the Care Home Manager in managing the day-to-day running of all Care aspects of the Care Home

To be responsible for ensuring that Care Home quality audits are completed in a timely manner and cross referenced as designated by the manager

Conduct Care Home show rounds, taking enquires and conducting pre admission assessments

To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents following individual care plans

Responsible for understanding and complying with statutory and legal requirements relevant throughout the home, including HACCP, COSHH, Health and Safety, all aspects of the Health & Social Care Act

To always be alert to residents physical and mental wellbeing, immediately dealing with and reporting any changes in a resident's condition. Liaising with other care professionals as required, and ensuring that all records are updated accurately.

To be an active and encouraging senior member of the Care team, responsible for running team meetings, ensuring good communication and leading the induction and training of newly appointed care assistants

Candidate Skills:

Excellent communication skills

Accounts and budgeting skills

Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Deputy Manager or in a caring environment

Experience leading, developing and motivating a team

NVQ (Level 3) in Health & Social Care

A good understanding and knowledge of current legislation and CQC requirements

Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff.

Willing and able to provide an out of hours 'on call' service and Willing to cover for absent Managers

Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff.

Salary & Benefits

GBP27,000 - GBP30,000 (Dependent on Experience)
