Part-time Marketing Assistant

(20 hours per week)

Our client is a Global Manufacturer of care products with recognised and trusted branded personal care products which are sold through the leading multiple grocery and pharmacy retailers. An opportunity has arisen for a part- time Marketing Assistant to join their team based from the Head Office in Wakefield.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

• Support sales team with creating bespoke support materials.

• Organise and plan the production of all materials by working closely with printers, internal graphics team and other third parties.

• Updating social media and implementing regular digital marketing.

• Emailing marketing campaigns.

• Assist in show and exhibition management; order stock, re-prints and liaise with contractors as required.

• Keep website updated.

• Competitor activity reports.

• Internal corporate communication submissions.

• Proof reading materials and communication.

• Achieving qualitative and quantitative objectives set.

• Ad hoc marketing duties to support UK Marketing plan.

The ideal candidate will ideally but not essentially have a formal marketing qualification, coupled with at least one year’s experience gained within a marketing environment. A sound awareness of digital marketing is essential as well as generalist knowledge across the full marketing mix.
