Assistant Merchandiser - Luxury Retailer - London

Salary highly negotiable - DOE

My client is as British lifestyle luxury brand and they are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser - open to salary for the right person.

Their collection is recognised for clean lines, impeccable fit and sports luxe detail is designed to take women through every aspect of their life?s journey with effortless chic. Encompassing everything from beautifully cut ready-to-wear pieces, luxury handbags, small leather goods and a world-renowned wedding dress collection.


Support merchandiser to create range plan/assortment plan
Thorough knowledge of competitor activity
Regular sales analysis to spot opportunities/suggest trading actions
Ensure all information on SAP is up to date and accurate
Line cards for continuity product
Manage allocator to ensure optimum use of stock
Action Monday reports to be available to the business by 11am on Mondays
Create reports on SAP to improve visibility on stock, sales, POs etc
Ensure good communication of all activities to all appropriate parties in the business
Work with wholesale team to ensure best product availability


Developing skills within a team and encouraging effective teamwork
Strong communicator with impressive organisational skills.
Pro-active approach to problem-solving, prioritising and meeting deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of retail systems. IT proficient.
Experience at Assistant Merchandiser/Merchandise Administrator level for a proven retailer.
Strong trading skills and ability to analyse numerical data quickly and efficiently with attention to detail.
A confident decision maker, with good commercial acumen and a focus on profit.
Luxury retail experience is desirable but not essential.
