The Role

I am recruiting for a Deputy Manager, RGN, to work in a Nursing Home in Ledbury.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead or Senior to further develop their career with a supportive and proactive company that truly values their nurses. You will be a Registered Nurse, (RGN), with high standards of clinical nursing and at least 2 years senior experience working in the field of caring for older adults. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours, working days from Monday- Friday and they are offering up to GBP33,000 p/a for the right candidate. The Person

This home currently is seeking a motivated and dedicated Deputy Manager to take responsibility for the well being of their residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. You would take responsibility for the development of innovative programmes of care; including the implementation and evaluation of these programmes, ensuring that care activities are research based but interactive. You would take the lead for a team of nurses, contributing to their continued supervision, clinical training and development.

They work closely with their Services to ensure that the training provided meets the needs of the teams and enables them to meet the needs of our Service Users and deliver a high quality of care provision. They are an accredited centre with City and Guilds, offering different qualifications and they also provide specialist Dementia related development courses.They welcome a wide range of care needs, skilled in enhanced residential care but also many specialist forms of nursing.

The Home, itself, is committed to providing care and compassion in a safe, secure but stimulating environment for up to 35 people over the age of 55 living with old age and physical disabilities. The residents may require rehabilitation/enablement or continuing care and they also specialise in care for those who also have physical health or mobility needs.
