*Management of a team of Scientists and Engineers.

*Development of semi-conductor sequencing technology for the sequencing workflow.

*Program management working to agreed timelines and budgets.

*Delivering documentation (ISO 13485).

*Ensuring that the sequencing protocol and chemistries are appropriately aligned for integration into the platform workflow.

Requirements:

*Experience of developing NGS sequencing chemistries and semi-conductor based methods will be highly regarded.

*Specific expertise in the development of NGS sequencing chemistries / enzyme activities, preferably with semi-conductor-based methods.

*Candidates must have a strong industry background of product development- preferably with molecular in-vitro diagnostic technologies or NGS platforms.

*Previous direct line management experience of a team of scientists.

*Desirable is deep experience with nucleic acid amplification (PCR and non-PCR, including isothermal).
