Account Manager / Sales Manager required to join this exciting and innovative business providing long distance training to the global maritime industry. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record in achieving sales targets. This role could suit somebody who has spent time at sea, either working on Superyachts or in the commercial shipping industry, now looking for a new challenge onshore.

The Account Manager will have the opportunity to grow their desk and achieve commission on all sales. This is a consultative role and experience of the marine industry would be preferable but is not essential.

Key responsibilities
• Generate sales each month to meet targets
• Update and maintain the prospect database
• Work with Digital Marketing Manager to promote courses to the existing database
• Help provide content for social media posts, blogs, website content etc.
• Make calls following up on leads generated by the marketing activity via email and telephone
• Maintain contact with prospects that have been identified as potential candidates
• Make new business calls to potential candidates, associations and corporations who are new to the database
• Attend face to face meetings, exhibitions, events etc. where appropriate and agreed within the marketing plan
• Research new industry's to be targeted
• Produce enquiry/sales activity reports as directed

Location: Surrey
Salary: GBP25,000 (dependant on experience) and OTE GBP30,000
