Marketing Manager - Digital, Email, Content, PR - Financial Markets

12 Months Fixed Term (initially)

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading financial for a Marketing Manager/Consultant to work on an exciting 12 month project. You will join a Marketing team to deliver external communications activity. Use relevant vehicles to deliver key messages to target audiences contributing to the achievement of company sales targets, profitability targets and a positive company reputation in the financial services marketplace.

Role of the Marketing Manager:

  • Assist in the development, implementation and measurement of the business's marketing, communications strategy and activity
  • Create, deliver and monitor effective content-led marketing, communication items and material focused on key messages promoting financial products and service proposition to target audiences
  • Copywriting and proofreading of marketing material
  • Ensure all communications meet corporate, brand, compliance and legal standards as well as financial promotion rules and requirements
  • Assist in the maintenance of existing marketing material, to ensure it is current and relevant for the needs of the business
  • Maintain efficient and effective relationships with internal stakeholders as well as the sales teams to deliver marketing items and support which the sales teams find useful and beneficial

Requirements of the Marketing Manager:

  • Experience of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Outlook essential
  • Experience of e-mail marketing tools, such as Eloqua, strongly preferred
  • Experience of copywriting and content-led marketing
  • Experience of website content management system tools
  • HTML/web development skills would be beneficial but are not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to interpret and produce written communications for all levels
  • A proactive individual who shows initiative and takes responsibility for their own decisions
  • A good team-player who encourages feedback, and is able to delegate and seek help when appropriate
  • An effective and well-presented communicator both verbally and in writing
  • An analytical, problem-solver who is able to quickly and accurately identify key issues
  • A well-organised planner who will follow rules and procedures when appropriate

  • Relevant degree qualification
  • Relevant experience in marketing communications
