Position: Service Administrator
Location: Stroud area
Job type: 37.5 hours per week; full-time

Salary: GBP10.81 per hour rising to GBP11.47 per hour on satisfactory completion of probation and attainment of Diploma Level 4 in Business and Administration

About the role:

Leading a small team, you will manage the finance and administrative systems for the service, including handling invoices, providing budgetary reporting, managing databases and personnel files and providing support to the Regional Manager where required.

You will need good knowledge of MS Office applications, including substantial proficiency in setting-up and using Excel spreadsheets and databases. In addition, you'll have the ability to work well under pressure, to manage your own time and possess the sensitivity to appropriately handle confidential information.

The role is based at their Stroud service but you will be required to travel to other locations in the area. Therefore, a full driving licence with use of a car for business purposes is essential to this role.

About you:

Successful candidates will have (or be willing to work towards) the Diploma level 4 in Business and administration (equivalent) within 12 months as well as the ECDL, European Computer Driving Licence qualification. You will also need a good standard of Maths and English.

You will need previous experience of working in an administration role as well as managing a team, including direct supervision and training. You will have excellent planning, time management and organisation skills, along with good financial understanding to include purchase and sales ledger, credit control and managing petty cash. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are also essential requirements.
