Randstad Student Support Manchester is looking for a Team Manager to come in and hit the ground running! This is a great opportunity to come and manage a high performing branch within a global company.

Business growth

* Achieve budget and successfully grow the business
* Identify and maximise opportunities within both new and existing clients
* Build strong relationships with senior level contacts across the business areas of clients
* Establish a multi-layer contact chain with all new and existing clients - Team Manager to network with senior level contacts including monthly calls to Heads of Service and/or Students Services Director
* Work in partnership with Business Development Managers to help win new business
* Support in coordinating and writing effective tenders
* Network with clients to build our reputation as a specialist provider
* Arrange & attend conferences, events or networking meetings
* Obtain client referrals and/or provide case studies that can be used to help win new business
* Work with marketing to deliver effective content for mailers and marketing campaigns
* Attend client review meetings on a quarterly, annual or ad hoc basis
* Carry out and record monthly service reviews with all clients
* Support in new business development meetings where required
* Maintain a strong understanding of competitors and services offered

People

* Act as a leader and role model to the team inspiring them to be successful
* Manage the team on a daily basis driving activity targets and results
* Set challenging but realistic targets in line with company objectives and growth
* High performance management
* Provide coaching and training in line with individual/team needs
* Implement personal development plans
* Responsible for recruitment of new staff
* Induct new starters into the business
* Build strong relationships with departments/colleagues from shared services
