The Business

Sellick Partnership are currently representing one of the largest Financial Institutions in the City of London in their search for a CASS Oversight Analyst. The financial organisation we're representing are currently excelling from both a turnover and profitability perspective and are looking to maintain this current trend. The business have a clear short and long term strategy in place and are looking to engage with an exceptional CASS Analyst to assist the already established team.

The Role

Candidates wishing to apply for the CASS Analyst role will sit within the client assets team and will play a central role in maintaining and developing the already excellent relationship with the IFDS. The interim will be responsible for increasing oversight, implementing controls, procedures and reconstructing the IFDS Client Money reconciliations in line with the CASS framework. Lasting for a minimum of 6 months this interim position will enable the candidate to get unparalleled exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

Specific role duties include

* Responsible for carrying out daily oversight of internal and external client money reconciliations
* Carrying weekly reviews of the CASS resolution packs
* Coordinate collation, quality assurance and production of the monthly CASS Management Information Pack for the CASS Governance Committee
* Coordinate collation, quality assurance and production of the monthly CMAR regulatory filings, including the pre-approval review process with the CF10a
* Participate in CASS quality assurance testing across operations, including providing onsite oversight activities at third party administrators
* Analyse, Identify and improve model, implement new procedures and controls

The Candidate

Candidates wishing to apply for the role will ideally have a strong analytical background with exposure to working in the Asset Management or third party operations sector. Essential experience includes having prior experience of preparing CASS resolution packs, controls and procedures, breach resolving reconciliation queries, mitigation and remediation and dealing with third party administrators. Strong communication skills and the ability to analyse and question large volumes of information are critical to this role.
