Our client is a national awarding body who are looking for a Bid Writer Executive to join their expanding team. The role of Bid Writer Executive is to coordinate and project manage bids, proposals, pitches.

The Executive will create and review tender submissions, presentations and all supporting documentation, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach.

The role includes facilitating and coordinating meetings, contributing to the win-strategy and messaging, drafting and reviewing content for submission. In addition you will be responsible for set up and maintenance of the central repository/bids library of information.


Support the Bid Manager to identify and create commercial opportunities

Register on and monitor procurement portals

Set up and maintain the central repository/bids library of information

Coordinate evaluation of tender opportunities - recommend bid/no bid

Source client research, competitor analysis and industry/sector information to support bid strategy

Coordinate inputs from a variety of stakeholders, business development, marketing, product development, quality assurance, customer service, finance, commercial and legal

Edit content

Create content to support pitch meetings

Support colleagues to prepare for strategic bid presentations

Coordinate submission of tenders and the formal sign off process

Win tenders in line with the strategic priorities of the company

Coordinate handover of successful tenders to operations team

Oversee the implementation of won contracts

Meet the expected revenue and profit targets set

Support the post-tender evaluation programme

Implement improvements in process and approach

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders

Maintain a current knowledge of developments in education and the sector

Deliver exceptional customer service to all company customers, both internal and external

Improve the performance of the company by seeking new business opportunities and continually reviewing and implementing improved working practices and processes

Support the company in maintaining its compliance with the Conditions of Recognition and additional regulatory criteria
