Prospero Teaching is looking for an English Teacher for a specialist high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder provision school in Reading, Berkshire, to start in September 2017. The successful teacher must have a passion for their subject, and while experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder students is not essential, enthusiasm and drive to promote the best progress (academically, socially and emotionally) for these students is a must.

* Students aged 5 - 16 - the successful teacher will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4
* Small class sizes - maximum of 8 students per class

* Qualified Teacher Status
* High levels of motivation
* A passion for teaching English Language and Literature - you must love your subject
* A genuine desire and drive to work with Autism Spectrum Disorder students - this is essential
* Enthusiasm
* Ability and willingness to contribute to the ethos of the school
* An optimistic outlook and the skills to encourage students to achieve their highest potential, not only academically but socially and emotionally
* Willingness to partake in appropriate accredited Continued Professional Development training
