MMP Consultancy are currently working with one of the largest housing associations in the country, seeking a Senior Fire Safety Programme Manager on a 12 month contract.

The initial three months will be interim on an hourly rate of GBP35.55 Per Hour moving into a 9 month Fixed Term Contract at GBP55,000 per annum.

The organisations have offices in Kent, London, Sussex and Norfolk and the successful candidate can work from any office but may be called to London for meetings.

Key Duties:

- Experienced Fire Safety Manager who is responsible for creating, implementing and delivering a programme of Fire Safety Improvement works.
- There is a team based around the country to develop this programme, successful candidates will need to be highly computer literate and capable of managing the compliance effectively on the systems.
- This can include carrying out fire risk assessments on the housing stock of high rise flats and domestic dwellings.
- Creating the specification of works and liaising with internal teams and external consultants to carry out the works.
- Prioritisation of high risk areas and review of all current fire risk assessments.
- Monitor the fire risk officers and administrative tasks to effectively deliver the programme within Fire Safety, Capital Delivery and Maintenance.
- Analyse high volumes of building data, utilising this information to create a building project for each specific works.
- Liaise with residents, Local Fire Brigades and external consultants.
- Document and monitor all works within the programme liaising with Head of Health and Safety for audit and improvement of shared services.

This role is of vital importance to the organisation and requires a great deal of knowledge of the Statutory Reforms and legislation surrounding fire safety
