Science Teacher Required in Somerset Secondary School

We are looking for a qualified teacher of Science to teach Science at a successful Secondary school in Somerset from 4th September 2017. This is a full-time Science teaching role and the ability to teach Physics at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 is desirable. The school welcomes applicants from NQTs as well as more experienced teachers of Science. The timetable includes teaching classes across Key Stages 3 to 5.

To be considered for this role you must:
*Hold QTS status
*Have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Science curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (knowledge of Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 Physics is desirable but not essential)
*Have the ability to work collaboratively within a well-established, supportive and dynamic Science Department

The school itself is a very successful and oversubscribed, Ofsted 'Good' school. There will be an opportunity to teach at A Level as they school offers education from 11 to 18 years of age and has a large and thriving Sixth Form.
