The Role

I am recruiting Registered General Nurses (RGN) to join a Hospital's Outpatients Ward in Southampton.

This is a unique opportunity for a fully qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) to further develop their career with a responsive and proactive company that truly values their nurses. You will be Nurse Qualified (RGN) with high standards of clinical nursing and at least 9 months acute healthcare experience working on a ward or in a hospital environment. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours, working rotational shifts Mon-Fri with some weekends (as required) and they are offering up to GBP28,000 p/a for the right candidate. The Person

The service is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Registered General Nurse to take responsibility for the well being of their patients, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. A valid NMC Pin is essential and a good working knowledge of CQC standards, NMC guidelines and the Health and Social Act 2008.

You will work under the Outpatients Manager to provide quality patient care ensuring that all treatments given meet individual patient needs, reflect good practice and are provided by means of appropriate equipment, within the agreed patient care pathways. You will have an effective way of communicating with a multi-disciplinary team, the service users and their families. You would provide pre- and post- operative care, monitor patients for any signs of continued deterioration, wound assessment and care, and suture and plaster removal.

We will accept cvs from registered nurses who have not worked in an Outpatients Department and are looking to develop their skills.
