We are excited to be working with a lovely Integrated healthcare agency in Berkshire, who are currently looking for an Account Handler to join them. They are open to AE/Sa level as well as AM. Ideally you would come from an agency background but they would also consider someone from client side-Pharma company where you have perhaps worked as Product Developer or Marketing Manager.
The AM will work directly with the Directors of the agency to raise the level of their full service offering. The AM will be responsible for delivering projects that exceed client expectation, whilst working to motivate and inspire the team.

Responsible for:

External relationships: Clients; brand and marketing managers
Internal relationships: Account management and studio

Key requirements:

• Retain and grow accounts
• Work with clients to develop strategy and tactical implementation
• Take brief from client and work with team to assist in delivery of projects
• Ensure high quality projects are delivered to client on time and on budget
• Plan and implement efficient processes and systems within the account handling team to ensure delivery of client projects
• Work with client to ensure projects have a rapid and smooth progress through client approval system
• Ensure strong financial administration of projects and accounts
• Seek to grow existing business
• Identify new business opportunities
• Ability to grow and maintain agency supplier network
• Clear understanding of disease areas, treatments and clinical papers

Detailed Requirements:

• Take briefs from clients, develop internal creative briefs
• Manage the external and internal suppliers to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met and all items meet the original client brief and budget
• Communicate creative/copy briefs clearly to studio and provide feedback to ensure high quality creative output
• Develop cost matrices for each individual project
• Ensuring POs or Works Orders are received from clients and uploaded on the management system before any work is started
• Proof reading
• Referencing of items (uploading to client systems as appropriate, e.g. Zinc & Veeva)
• Responsible for keeping the client and agencies team aware of progress on all jobs
• Responsible for ensuring contact reports are created promptly after meetings or calls
• Responsible for ensuring status reports are created weekly
• Ensure jobs on the server are up to date
• Presentation to clients of concept and at pitch presentations
• Present creative work and proposals to clients
• Keeping an accurate record of the hours spent on each job and uploaded to the management system daily

Technical skills:

• Understanding of the pharma industry - especially UK and European codes of practice, NHS roles, sales and marketing roles
• Passion for digital platforms
• Understanding the production process from concept to final delivery
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe
• Approval systems - Zinc & Veeva

Qualifcations or Experience:

• Degree (ideal but not essential) life science or marketing/medical (e.g. nursing background)
• Pharmaceutical sales, marketing, PR, market research, medical writing, ad agency
• Other ad/PR agency experience
