Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced and incredibly professional Operations Manager to ultimately branch manage a single domiciliary care office based in South Manchester.

This company has won significant awards in its first 5 years of operating and has an impeccable reputation in the area for delivering high quality homecare. The company is registered with the Care Quality Commission for the regulated activity of personal care for people of all ages including children.

The philosophy of the director, who the successful applicant will be reporting to, is simply to make the company the best place to work in care, because very happy staff makes for very happy customers. Currently our client is delivering over 8000 hours of predominantly private home care a month, and the objective is to reasonably double the size of the company in the next 3 years. Quality and reputation are our clients main focus.

The role will suit a true 'professional' Operations Manager with a proven track record in running (as a bare minimum) a CQC-rated 'Good' service, ideally from within domiciliary care. If you also have a current nursing qualification or management or adult teaching qualification alongside extensive management and commercial experience, that would be advantageous. Either way, you will have probably have held a CQC registration and be totally familiar with current CQC guidelines and legislation or learn them quickly. Experience of developing new and innovative services directly to the NHS, and of making the 'business case' is of significant interest to us as well as experience of developing services for children.

We are looking for a real leader in the organisation with a demonstrable track record in nurturing colleagues and developing a service, to continually deliver only the very best of care to build on and enhance this company's already exceptional reputation. The company currently has a very 'Good' CQC rating, and the owner will incentivise the new operations manager with an additional one-off bonus of GBP10,000 once an 'Outstanding' rating is achieved on top of generous OTE earnings.

The package available is to attract the very best. A basic salary of GBP40,000 with an annual performance bonus of up to GBP6,000 depending on meeting business growth and profitability targets. Private medical insurance along with free breakdown cover is also included. Sufficient time and funds will be allocated for your own continuous professional development alongside your colleagues.
