Job description

Accountant Responsibilities

* The Accountant will directly report to Head of Finance, responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
* Responsible for the accuracy of inventory accounts including but not limiting tracking of physical possession of the product.
* Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
* Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
* Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems Microsoft NAV, making use of current computer technology.
* Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Validate costs of goods sold as part of close.
* Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals.
* Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
* Coordinate monthly fiscal close and reporting.
* Interact with internal departments to compile financial inventory data.
* Perform monthly cash reconciliations and various balance sheet account controls.
* Responsible for month end manufacturing closing activities.
* Handle additional accounting related tasks, projects and reporting as required.

Qualification & Experience

* Bachelor degree in accounting or related degree preferred, Part-qualified Accountant
* At least 3-5 years working experience in accounting, manufacturing experience is preferred
* Must be hands on.
* Worked on ERP systems, preferable with SAP and NAV
* Be cost effective in the utilization of our resources
* Fluency in English-both written and verbal
* Computer skills (specifically Microsoft Office Suite)
* Attention to detail and strong time management skills
* Willing and eagerness to learn
