National Business Manager- Surgical Pumps- field-based- competitive salary- global medical devices company!

Our client is a leading, international medical devices company specialising in surgical pumps and medical vacuum technology.

They're looking for a passionate and dedicated sales manager from within the healthcare or medical devices industry to join their Healthcare Business Unit, developing sales and marketing strategies to drive business success.

The National Business Manager's responsibilities will include:

* Representing the company and its products to targeted potential customers and current key accounts, increasing sales and marketing share in line with company objectives

* Identifying and taking on new business opportunities

* Targeting key accounts for development with the addition of value added services

* Developing and maintaining relationships with hospitals, third party distributors, and healthcare professionals

* Creating the UK Healthcare marketing plan, working collaboratively with the marketing team to propose an effective plan which creates the optimum sales environment

* Managing the Healthcare team, providing regular support and direction as well as assisting with staff recruitment and training

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

* Extensive experience within medical device sales, including people management

* Up-to-date working knowledge of the NHS

* Excellent management skills

* The ability to influence, including strong sales and negotiation skills

* Experience of marketing within healthcare
