121 Social Care are currently looking for Registered Residential Children's Home Managers in the Luton area.

121 Social Care specialise in supplying Permanent and Temporary staff to Residential Childrens Homes Nationwide.

You should bring a wide range of knowledge and experience as a residential childcare practitioner with management experience and be suitably qualified. The successful candidate will need to be approved by the appropriate statutory body. This will require Ofsted registration in accordance with their respective timescales and conditions.

In this role the following Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge is required

NVQ4 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)

Management Qualification

2 years working with ESBD children within the past 5 years

1 year at Senior Level in residential care

Exemplary attendance and performance record

Managing Ofsted inspections to a minimum overall good rating

In-depth knowledge of National Minimum Standards and Childrens Homes Regulations

In-depth and up to date knowledge of Childcare legislation and current safeguarding legislation including Child Protection

Awareness of Equality & Diversity and ADP matters

Good understanding the needs of ESBD Children including strategies used to manage challenging behaviour

Commercial awareness, taking into account the needs of the business, our Local Authority partners, the Home and the needs of the young people.

A full drivers licence is essential along with an Enhanced DBS Check to be completed if you are successful in this role.

Rates of pay are competitive and negotiable.
