A very good client of ours, an award winning production agency are rapidly growing and therefore looking for a Traffic Manager to join them.

The Studio Traffic Manager will manage and maintain workflow through the studio. Regularly working closely with Heads of and Client Production Services to make sure the weekly planner is filled.

Will be responsible for preparing costing documents for CPS team. As well as reviewing hours filled into Streamtime and red flagging to the team when hours are almost used.


• Compiling Studio Schedules and ensuring designers are booked onto projects as per the project plans and their abilities.
• Regularly updating the Top Line Planner - ensuring all production, upcoming, speculative and lab projects are booked and resourced.
• Resource management & scheduling.
• Aid Leads in project quality control and assessment to agencies high standards.

• Ensuring all Roadmaps are reviewed and achievable and if not reporting back to Head of Studio.

Streamtime/ reports
• Regularly reporting to Senior management re project status, resource utilisation and production capacity.
• Managing and adding all tasks into Streamtime for each of the projects using the costing sheets that are agreed with client.

• Managing studio team members and making sure they are motivated and hitting deadlines.
• Chair Top line Planner meetings with the Heads of each department, planning, forecasting, compiling and actioning projects.
• Updating and revising the agency schedule to reflect changes as and when they occur.
• Making sure all Streamtime timesheets are up to date and correct from studio and creative.
• Send out daily deliverables/ actions to studio team and have daily Morning Huddles with the Leads making sure they are aware of the deadlines and what needs to be done by the end of play.
• To be the communication bridge between the three departments in busy periods - by making sure CPS are kept up to date at all times with potential issues for the client to be made aware.
• Help manage the limit of deadlines per day to avoid bottle necking.
• Making sure all deadlines are met by reviewing the daily deliverable list and chasing the relevant people.
• Managing relationships with recruitment agencies and occasionally creative agencies.
• Managing the relationship with agencies's trusted freelance list (and adding to the list).
• Organising, maintaining and developing all studio supplies, ranging from furniture, equipment and stationery.
• Manage and execute new starter inductions (incl tour of offices, training on Streamtime etc).
• Reviewing, advising and managing CPS project plans - ensuring that the deliverables can be met and resource is there to complete the tasks.
• Reviewing and processing Freelancer invoices into the Streamtime.
• Reviewing and improving company processes where needed, And train staff on these once approved by Heads of/ Directors.
• Manage and approve studio annual leave forms and making sure these are planned into the schedules.
• Provide training for new and existing staff on Streamtime - how it is used, why, how to fill in properly etc.

• Ability to clearly communicate efficiently/ effectively across all departments

Have 2-5 years' experience working in a Studio Manager role in a design agency or in-house design department. (Post- Production experience would be beneficial).


• Excellent knowledge of streamtime is highly beneficial
• Excellent Knowledge of Production/ Creative process is required (either formal education or work experience)
• Good knowledge of Macs
• An understanding of CINEMA 4D/ 3D software, After Effects and other Adobe CC products.
• A degree, ideally in a business, branding, design, animation or creative
• orientated discipline.
