HR Advisor - Poole - GBP28k Ongoing Interim role - Possible perm opportunity

Bond Williams are delighted to be recruiting for an interim HR Advisor for this long standing and reputable engineering business. You will be a robust and versatile HR professional who has previous experience at working in unionised environments.

Key responsibilities will include :-
??Support Change Management processes including preparing consultation documents and attending consultation meetings as advised by the HR Manager.
??Manage and ensure appropriate administrative and system changes are actioned on a daily basis, liaising with line managers and Payroll as appropriate. This will include but is not limited to attendance, amendments to contracts, recruitment offers, terminations and changes to terms and conditions.
??Support in the planning and implementing of cost effective recruitment and selection processes in line with the Standard Operating Procedure.
??Complete HR monthly reporting in line with agreed deadlines.
??Support and guide line managers with the annual Performance Management Process ensuring appraisals are completed on time
??Manage training course bookings in line with Development plans, ensuring training contracts are produced for all professional qualifications and maintaining training database of all training by month end
??Undertake project work when required
??Assist the HR Manager with HR related administrative tasks and responsibilities including ad-hoc filing as appropriate to the main activities of this job description

Your background

??Previous experience as an HR Officer/HR Professional in a generalist role.
??CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
??Thorough, up to date and demonstrable knowledge of employment law with experience in Employee Relations
??Excellent communication skills with particular emphasis on tact, discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy.
??Ability to build rapport and effective relationships with a wide variety of people.
??Highly organised and able to keep accurate records with the ability to use initiative, set priorities and work without supervision to a high standard with minimal errors and within timescales/targets.
??Strong IT skills, with particular knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (competent in Mail merge and Pivot Tables).
