Are you a focused and highly methodical Customer Service Team Manager looking for your next career move? We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team/Project Manager to join our client, a forward thinking and expanding company based in central Ipswich. This role will suit a highly motivated and successful Team Manager with experience of supporting projects.

As a Project Manager your duties will be;

• Manage Client communication including, management of client expectation, timely communication of project progress, risks and their mitigations.
• Proactive communication with Clients, internal and external, high availability with quick responses to questions and requests.
• Maintain status as single point of contact for client (internal or external) to ensure all communication between the Client and the delivery teams is managed to guarantee that all agreements, including but not limited to change requests, are recorded and all parties are in agreement with respect to costs and alterations in the project plan.
• Prepare and manage Project Plans for implementation of new clients into the Operation.
• Manage projects to a conclusion, including resolution of all reported defects, in a timely fashion, in the shortest cycle time possible, whilst maintaining control of project costs.
• Resource planning within the constraint of a resource pool completing multiple projects for numerous clients, internal and external to the business. To ensure that resource requirements needed to meet agreed timescales and provide optimal project budget control are catered for.
• Manage project budgets to ensure completion, including resolution of all reported defects, within estimates and budgets agreed with clients, internal and external.
• Strategic internal projects such as Training Academy roll outs.
• Periodically, at least weekly, measure project progress against estimate elements, access risks with reference to timescales, budgets and quality and mitigate where possible.
• Update data relating to project progress, risks and mitigations, costs incurred and projected, milestone completion and current expected project completion daily to ensure accurate weekly reporting of overall project status for all projects undertaken by the business.
• To produce and seek agreement with all parties prior to the commencement of any project and fully documented and resourced project plan.
• Manage clients and projects in accordance with Company procedures at all times seeking to implement commercial best practice where possible.
• Ensure that documentation required at each stage of project fulfilment is produced and recorded in accordance with Company procedures and to the quality levels required as advised from time to time.

Skills/Experience required;

• General knowledge of business systems and operations
• Experience working within a Highly Commercial Environment managing projects to strict & demanding time and cost budgets
• Understanding how to set budgets and manage costs
• Ability to relate to clients at all levels of an organisation
• System and application knowledge
• Basic knowledge of networking and database techniques
• Diplomacy, discretion and professional demeanour and behaviour
• Knowledge of object oriented and workflow systems in general
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and terminology
• Presentation skills and ability to conduct workshops and interviews
