GBP22974-GBP30882 FTE 0.62 Pro rata ( dependent on teaching qualification

We are seeking an exceptional person who is passionate and willing to teach our adult learners for our Person Centred Counselling Courses to ensure that the students have the best possible experience of studying at the college. The successful candidate will be expected to take on some Course Leadership as part of the role and be able to support a team of sessional counselling tutors.

The successful candidate must have exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team. Candidates should have a knowledge and understanding of current and likely developments in education, training and counselling and a clearly demonstrated commitment to continuing professional and personal development.

You will need to have:
- Experience of Lecturing at a Leading Further Education College or Training Provider
- Relevant vocational experience
- A recognised Teaching qualification
- At least 600 hours of supervised practice as a counsellor and preferably some supervision experience
- Level 4 Diploma qualified Person-Centred Counsellor with BACP accreditation or who is eligible for accreditation
- Level 2 qualification (GCSE grade A-C or equivalent) in English and Maths
- A DBS Certificate that is on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
