We are now seeking an Account Director within our National Accounts division (NACS) with proven business development and senior leadership skills within the Fire & Security industry. Whilst this role has a national remit we are ideally seeking candidates based in Ashford, (Middlesex) however all locations will good transport links will be considered. The Account Director will supervise a team of 8 Senior/ Account Managers who focus on our Retail portfolio of National Accounts.

The role holder will drive and support profitable revenue growth through a vertical market approach to business opportunities within the UK, working with Senior Account Managers and business leaders to ensure they are driving and adopting the business strategy. The role holder will provide leadership and management skills to maintain growth and develop new opportunities within the agreed market sectors in line with company targets and KPI`s.

The role holder will also be responsible for the development and retention of a talented account management team by training and coaching them, recognising and rewarding them and maintaining good moral at all times. A full and clear understanding of the UTC commercial direction and sales strategy is essential, as the Account Director is responsible for aligning the client/ contract strategy with revenue growth and sales targets as well as a wide variety of other deliverables,

In order to be considered for this position, candidates should ideally have several years` experience of working at a senior sales/ management level within the Fire & Security industry, as well as demonstrable experience in client retention management, excellent interpersonal/ negotiation skills and evidence of the ability to quickly form productive relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Candidates must also have a full UK driving licence.

As well as a competitive basic salary (GBP65-70k) this position comes with a company vehicle and an incentive scheme which should see the successful individual achieving a six figure package annually.
