Job Role: Teacher of Music/Music Technology-

Location: Hertfordshire

Job Salary: MPS - UPS (Fringe)

I am seeking a teacher of music/music technology for a rapidly improving performing arts specialist school in Hertfordshire, Borehamwood. The school is at an exciting place to work with passionate students and staff offering an industry focused curriculum

The school's main aim is for all students to develop the capabilities and skills that will help them to succeed in the work place.

Having visited the school and met with key staff I found the school to be friendly with a warm atmosphere where students were proud of their school and engaged in learning.

You'll be a qualified teacher of music, with the ability to teach engaging well-thought-out lessons that maintain the interest of the students.

As a Teacher of Music/Music Technology your main duties will include:

* Develop and implement a variety of teaching and learning styles
* Assessment, monitoring, resource development and administration
* Monitor and assess student achievement throughout their courses
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of appropriate Schemes of Work
* Work with the other members of the teaching team to build team and cross-college resource material

To be considered for this Teacher of Music/Music Technology role you must have:

* Degree or equivalent in Music/Music Technology
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Effective verbal and written communication
* Successful teaching of AS/A2 Music/Music Technology
* Experience of teaching AS and A2 courses
